It all began when two friends with a passion for aviation decided to set up a company, AEROCOP’S, and have their own aircraft hangar at the La Baule-Escoublac airfield to protect their microlights. They entrusted their project to Frisomat France, a company specialising in the construction of metal buildings, renowned for its speed of execution as well as the robustness and durability of its hangars.<\/p>

Construction of a hangar for personal use for ULMs<\/h2>

It all began when two friends with a passion for aviation decided to set up a company, AEROCOP’S, and have their own aircraft hangar at the La Baule-Escoublac airfield to protect their microlights. They entrusted their project to Frisomat France, a company specialising in the construction of metal buildings, renowned for its speed of execution as well as the robustness and durability of its hangars.

This new aircraft hangar is private, as the metal building will be used for personal use only. The structure is fairly simple, with no electricity or water supply. Above all, the two friends were looking for a place that was dry, secure and large enough for them to get their microlights in and out easily.<\/p> <\/div>

A tailor-made hangar<\/h2>

In this case, Frisomat was able to create an innovative new door model adapted to the project, with a 16-metre door on a 19-metre fa\u00e7ade, while respecting the budget of this small company.<\/p>

A hangar that stands up to the wind and the waves<\/h2>

This aircraft hangar is close to the ocean and in an open area. It is therefore essential to take into account the strength of the wind and the humidity of the region. Frisomat uses the latest technology. The company chose the best materials to make this metal shed robust, rustproof and durable: extremely resistant galvanised steel, anti-condensation felt and bracing, not forgetting the installation of a smoke extractor and a panic door to comply with standards.
