Abbreviated SMT – Cameroun, this exclusive dealer of Volvo Trucks, Volvo Construction Equipment and Volvo Penta is one of the 21 subsidiaries in Africa of the SMT Group headquartered in Wavre, Belgium.

High-quality workshop & offices

To be able to further expand its two main activities, SMT – Cameroun desired a new high-quality workshop with integrated offices. For the marketing of trucks, heavy machinery and equipment, boat engines, heavy-duty generators and forklifts, the official Volvo distributor in particular searched for a good-looking building solution with a strong price/quality ratio.

New building assembled fast

Nevertheless, fast assembly of the building was equally important. Since SMT – Cameroun had to be able to guarantee its customers the excellent after-sales service they are used to. Therefore, after a month and a half of assembly, the 1.470 m² workshop & offices could be taken into use.

Satisfied with the result, SMT – Cameroun now has the perfect operating base from which to service a number of Central African countries: Cameroon, Chad, CAR and Equatorial Guinea.
