Specialty Beers
A sustainable building for craft beer and growth
In 2020, Specialty Beers, makers of the now popular Tale beer, teamed up with Frisomat to build their brewery. This impressive 1,300 m² project includes a modern office space with a mezzanine, a brewhouse, a warehouse and an annex for technical equipment. With the assistance of a Frisomat supervisor, the customer was able to assemble the building themselves, located just outside the capital city of Accra.
Part of Ghana’s growth initiative
Specialty Beers is part of the government’s prestigious ‘One District, One Factory’ programme, which aims to establish factories in every region of Ghana. This project was even inaugurated by the President of Ghana. Combining Belgian craftsmanship with Ghanaian ingredients, Specialty Beers has launched a unique range of four craft beers under the Tale brand, which is rapidly gaining popularity both in Ghana and internationally.
