Mezzanines

THE BEST WAY TO CREATE EXTRA SPACE IN YOUR BUILDING
A mezzanine is the best way to create extra space in your industrial building. Double the available space with a solid mezzanine. For the structure of the mezzanine, we use the same materials as for the profiles, columns and walls of your buildings, namely cold-formed galvanised steel. This steel has been extensively tested and can withstand high loads and strong compressive forces, perfect for your Frisomat building and mezzanine. Frisomat offers three types of mezzanines, depending on the use and load-bearing capacity of the industrial mezzanine.

Mezzanine – type 1

The mezzanine structure is made of cold-formed steel. The sturdy, load-bearing floor is made from high-density fibreboard with a load-bearing capacity of up to 300 kg/m². This mezzanine is perfect for normal office use and provides an easy solution to creating additional storage space.

The components of this steel mezzanine are pre-engineered in our own factory and delivered with the building. The mezzanine can therefore be installed immediately. There is no need to involve a third party or wait for separate deliveries.

Quick delivery and installation
Best value for money compared to hot rolled steel
Extremely compact floor with maximum clear height
Aesthetic and highly functional design
100% Frisomat production

Mezzanine – type 2

The mezzanine consists of a supporting structure made entirely of cold-formed steel sections. Depending on the area and use of the mezzanine, the floor surface consists of either high-density wood fibreboard or compact dovetailed panels with a thin layer of concrete. The solid floor ensures optimum acoustic comfort, is highly resistant to vibration and has a load-bearing capacity of up to 500 kg/m². This mezzanine is therefore suitable for all applications.

All components are delivered with the rest of the materials for your building. This allows the construction team to erect the building and mezzanine at the same time, without wasting time.

Large areas possible (5m x 5m)
Very compact base with maximum free height
High resistance to vibration
Optimal acoustic performance
100% Frisomat production

Mezzanine – type 3

The mezzanine structure is made entirely of hot-rolled steel. The floor consists of a layer of concrete, the thickness of which is tailored to the intended load-bearing capacity. A third party calculates the exact design of the concrete based on your professional requirements, ensuring a strong foundation for loads up to 1,000 kg/m². A Type 3 mezzanine is therefore perfect for heavy loads, even in seismic areas.

High loads possible
Optimal acoustics
High degree of customisation
High resistance to vibration

Mezzanine accessories

The idea behind a Frisomat mezzanine is very simple: a steel staircase leads to a platform with a railing. Both steel components – the stairs and the railing – are produced in our own factory from the same material as the beams, which ensures strength. The accessories are therefore delivered with the rest of the mezzanine and building components. Everything is ready for immediate use.

Staircase

The staircase has a 36° angle and an effective width of 1 m. The steps can be supplied in wood or galvanised steel. Both materials are non-slip and meet all European quality standards.

Railing

The railing is 1 m high and has vertical bars made of steel tubes combined with horizontal wooden beams. The railing can be made removable to facilitate loading and unloading of stock.
